Earthquake in Chile
Chile was hit by an 8.8-magnitude earthquake this morning. The epicenter was 200 miles south of the capital, Santiago (above). Reports said that some buildings in Santiago collapsed and power was out in some areas. The airport was closed. A tsunami warning was issued for the Pacific islands.
